first get rid of all unwanted shrubs and trees. come up with your plot on paper and initiation one part at a time have your soil tested and add soil ammendments before you initiation planting. place in some kind of fill up feature pond, waterfall. get some huge shade trees and plant them where they will provide you with the most shade.plant shrubs like gardenias, cammelias,and other plant that smell excellent and flower.there are alot of other equipment to do, but this will give you a fantastic head initiation. excellent luck, richard
Just get rid of the weed first. Then maybe you must grow some nice ground cover plants such as Snow In Summer with some showy flowers like the peonies or hyacinths.
Sounds like you need to do some terracing and spend some time learning and deciding what you want. Visit some gardens, hang out at garden centers, look owing to books, and visit websites.
