Yes, Plant them and DO NOT FERTILIZE. Just plant them, fill up them really excellent for the first month and then let it go. Peppers don’t bloom and form the actual peppers until the plant thinks it is dying….hence no compost.

Yes I do !!!! If your planting Bell Peppers the best advice I can give you is to plant Marigolds (flowers) around them !!! Yes ! This will keep any and all unwanted bugs away and protect your peppers !!! Excellent Luck !!! (gosh I do so miss having a garden !)

What, is cyanne2ak nuts?? The plant HAS to flower to produce peppers!! The interrupt comes from the flower.(a very small white flower about the size of a dime) I have been growing Bell peppers in the N.E. for 40 years. Plant seedlings outside after the threat of your last frost. Fill up and fertilize with all of your other vegetable plants in the garden. I plant mine right next to my tomato plants. They are very hearty and simple to grow. Excellent luck and BON APPITITE!
