@vincent7520 One’s priorities change when sailing offshore for an extended period, we find. The boat behaves very well under all situation that we have encountered so far. Take a look at the “Sailing the Pacific Coast” series as well as the “Sailing Back to Hawaii” series, our latest. Heavy weather, lessons learned and, of coarse, food, food, food.

    “DANGEROUSLY LOW ON CHOCOLATE”
ah ! come on !… if that’s the only danger you have to face in a cruise you shouldn’t complain !!!…
    this is ridiculous.
although we all know chocolate is a fantastic help when equipment gets tiring, you must place equipment in perspective.
By the way, don’t you have anything to say than food food food ???…
How the boat behaves, heavy weather, lessons learned …

@mae951 On a boat with tiller steering the helmsman sits on the windward side of the boat, disparate with veer steering where the helm is always on the centerline and aligned with the release pedestal mounted compass so, yes – twin compasses are helpful on a tiller steered boat. There is also the redundancy factor; always a excellent thing.

On equipment reviews: Yes, we have and we agree about putting products in a more realistic environment for reviews. We’ll work on that.

    Thankfulness

Are two bulkhead mounted compasses really that helpful?

Have you plotting about doing equipment reviews? Like your raingear? I reckon it would be much more realistic to review a manufactured goods in it’s intended environment, instead of dockside like some reviews.

    Fantastic videos, keep them coming!

I delight in your videos so much!

Have you considered selling them ALL on a DVD?

Before you laugh… I am plotting on a trip in a few years and your videos are a fantastic learning experience for preparation.
