hi im a twelve year ancient girl i live in australia , sydney just today i gardened my own modest plants, ( cherrie tomatoes, sweet corn on the cob, garlic, and gourment lettuce). do you have any tips i must do?

  • 9aspengold5:

@sunflowereyes1 Spraying really doesn’t help since the modest maggots live in the mid-tissue layer of the plant leaves. Removing the unnatural leaf is best. Do it ahead of schedule so you can avoid another group invading next year’s crop. Removing weeds also helps since many weeds act as host plants for these critters. Excellent luck.

@9aspengold5 Do you reckon this will get rid of leafminers?

  • 9aspengold5:

Save money. Mix dishsoap with fill up. Place into spray bottle and spray away on Squash plants, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers.

I am selling plans on ebay of how to build Pyramid shaped Greenhouses. They have many advantages to other greenhouses like nearer growing and much healthier plants. I produced the plans myself. Go check it out at ebay and search: Pyramid Greenhouse Building Plans

What gets my plants every year is Tiny black ants (the same kind that evade our homes) that place Aphids on the plants, they even protect the Aphids. What can I use, and maybe make from home to stop them?

this is a excellent show i learned a lot from this guy and the reporter did a fantastic job asking questions, I’m a first time gardener, i havn’t encountered this problem, but now I’m prepared. I’m going to let all the manimals do there thing, get some lady bugs to if i need them. I wasn’t even thinking about attracting birds, but i’ve noticed a lot of them coming by recently. subbed
