Priming the parapet is always a excellent thought. It eliminates the need to use like 4 coats of paint!! Make sure you clean them first to remove residue and patch any holes or gouges to give the best refined look!
Hi. Yes, that might be a excellent thought. Painting a dark wall lighter is always hard! You may subdue need two coats of your color, but if you prime it, at least you won’t need three coats!!
Yes. Tan is a much lighter color than olive green. I’d certainly prime the parapet.
