If you place gunpowder in the soil, (lots of gunpowder), then the strawberries will explode when you throw them at the deer, teaching them a lesson that they will never forget.

ive planted my strawberry plant in a grow bag, but in the same grow bag ive planted spinich, ive seperated them off but one spinich shoot has come up 4cm away from my strawberry plant. must i risk up rooting the spinich and go it or is it fine growing close to the strawberry plant?

They produce suckers and the suckers grow into new plants, and the older produces more until it gets too ancient. The only problem is don’t plant them next to or where tomatoes grew since they share akin diseases. You have to watch out for the suckers though. You have to keep them in check otherwise you’ll have strawberry plants everywhere, more than you can handle.
If the large leaves are blocking cut them off close to the base, this will increase ventilation and an opening for bees and pollinators to get to them. If you are being paid very few flowers, add some compost that is high in phosphorous, instead of nitrogen.
A strawberry patch will produce berries for several years. But, after four years the bed is past its best, so many gardeners plant a new bed each year and, once the plants have fruited, dig up the oldest bed and plant peas or beans in it.
if its blocking the sunlight from the flower then cut it off. as long theres some small leaves that you seegrowing up and acouple huge ones. in my expeirience this will not hurt the plant and has really been benificial.
my strawberry plants have a lot of large leaves and only a few flowers right now. can i cut the large leaves off? will it cause problems with growth if i do?
the large number of large leaves seem to be blocking some inner flowers from sunlight.
