  • crip23walk23:

oh gardening tips he gave us were useless.

  • 5277407:

Don’t use that in your compost pile.

  • raigekiman:

what aboput prouduce waste like poo

  • 5277407:

@raigekiman Look on the compost container. You will see a set of three numbers ##–##–##. Make sure the middle number is the highest number. This is for phosphorus. You can also use compost, like dead leaves, wood chips and organic matter, vegetable peels, egg shells from your kitchen, etc.

  • raigekiman:

    what is phosphorous base compost?

i grew straw berrys in a hot place and fill up them but somehow as soon they bloom they die any advice?

  • McSwammich:

Do they need fill up? Gee. . .it seems like that would be something Stan would want to bring up. What a waste of a video

  • sidewayss11:

I,ve resolved this problem using Seasol. It is a two part compost and soil conditioner utilizing fish emulsion and other equipment which is organic. Now i have strawberries growing nicely thankfulness.

My Strawberry Plants Produce Like Crazy I Started With a Release Plant and In 4 Months I Now Have Over 200 That Have Grown

  • 5277407:

Try this: First be sure they are being paid plenty of sun, full sun if possilbe and of way fill up. Secondly, check your compost. Once the plants leaf out, do not use a nitrogen base compost, thrash to a phosphorous base compost. This will aid in fruit production. Thirdly, are the bees doing their job? If not, then you do. take a small clean paintbrush and lightly touch each blossom as if you were the bee. Excellent luck. I hope you get bunches of tasty berries next season.

  • mzx791:

That is not right, the fruit comes out of flower no matter what, but the seeds it has on (modest dots) will grow into new strawberries only if the flowers were pollinated before (dont know if this goes for each fruit or the whole plant).

  • Shetasen:

Any standard compost will do. just make sure it’s for fruiting plants and that the P value is higher than the N value.

  • sidewayss11:

thankfulness. i have the same problem of too many leaves and subdue waiting for fruit. What manufactured goods can u recommend?

  • PsyogiBottoms:

Thankfulness that was very helpful! ;?)

  • Shetasen:

If you want more strawberries, replant the runners in the ground once it has establish 3 to 4 leaves pinch them off from the mother plant. Runners is also an suggestion of alot of nitrogen in your soil which calls for green growth very than flower and fruit. Add some compost that is high in P very than N (look on your compost bag) Also, pinch off some of the runners while they are young, this gives more energy for other growth for the mother plant than the daughter plants.

  • Shetasen:

Sometimes if you have too many it will stunt the growth of others. Pick off some of the smaller plants and either plant them else where or give them to friends worst come to worst throw them out but let them dry out before you toss them. Add a bit of phosphorus high compost to stimulate flower and fruit production as it sounds like you may have more nitrogen, which encourages leaf growth very than fruit growth.

  • feefoley:

i have heaps of strawberry plants growing they are realy healthy and mutiplying like crazy but no flowers or fruit what can i do?

  • PsyogiBottoms:

What do you do about the runners? Must they be removed or planted? How do you get your plant to re-flower? I have one that is huge with lots of runners in a container, but no fruit?

  • fiyabun13:

freakjoshy, the flower turns into the strawberry after it is pollinated by a vector (bumble bee, honey bee, ants etc)

  • freakjoshy:

does the flower dry out and then the strawberries comes out?
