Ummm…I’m sweet sure I could turn 100 square feet with a SHOVEL in less than 30 minutes and have it tilled in that much time, too!

Ahh irrevocably a clip that really shows me step by step how to garden! I’ve never gardened before but now I live in a place with a huge back yard AND all the tools I need! Now I’m off to get some seeds!

    Thank YOU!

  • yovilleaddiction101:

oh boy oh boy I’m using the incorrect tool boy is my back going to like me as I use the right tool to end turning up the garden

  • Quoranation:

I like the taste of garden tomatoes and watermelons. Not to bring up I like garden fresh corn. Vegetables are expensive the best way to have a fresh veggie supply would be to garden. Fruit trees are a must because I like fresh fruit. Canned fruits are subpar compared to fresh ones. I chose the first thing I’ll grow will be strawberries.

I have a huge used to be garden in my back yard, I reckon I can handle turning some dirt, specially since I plot to sell my crops at the local farmers market, my point being, nothing is too hard as long as you place your mind to it.

if your joking than that wasnt a very amusing joke at all, and if your honest then most towns/cities have community gardens which you have to pay for but usually not very much

  • fueldbybeans:

What must I do if I do not own a house or a place to dig? Help please!

  • Ogizzie:

Wow…not only could you have used a tiller instead, but wouldn’t a shovel been simpler than a fork?

  • louis12346:

Expert Village? or Dork Idiot Village?

  • gigman7:

You wouldn’t turn the soil like that around here.

  • tirpitz42:

What do you do with the grass that you turn? Do you compost it, leave it in the soil, use it somewhere else, throw it away?

  • wildflowerwoman1:

we are using an ancient cultivater we establish and fixed up–simpler on the back. after using rake out all grass and mix soil with compost, sand etc. make sure your soil is not too acidic-plants like people need to be alkaline to thrive and grow[get a soil tester--they are not expensive]if too acidic place lime on top and let it sit over the chill
