Just to take time to delight in your garden as material grows. And include flowers as well as veggies and fruit, as they bring in the insects that will pollinate everything.

Get a really comfy seat and a excellent gardening book that shows different plans and gives excellent advice that you can reckon about as your garden develops. Also a excellent recipe book to give you thoughts of what to do come harvest time. Sit out in the excellent weather with those and a cool drink, and just delight in.

I also delight in going round ancient gardens that are open for broadcast viewing. Even though some are really huge, you will see some thought that you can include on a smaller scale in your own. And also see plants for sale there, that are not always available in present garden centers.

    All the best

Wow! You must live in a sunny place to plant all that, I would make sure that you give your plants plenty of sun and fill up. Make sure you have the plants properly spaced according to the tag or seed packet. If you don’t mind using compound fertilizers, I have heard that Miracle Grow facility wonders. You just mix some in the watering can or attach a atomizer to your hose and it fertilizes your plants and makes it up to double as huge I would say. You might want to get some ladybugs, available at most garden stores, to keep away aphids. Interrupt seeds (like red bell interrupt seeds) keep away unwanted animals you just sprinkle some around the plants roots but not on them. Worms will help the soil, but I have had terrible luck with them they just eat the plants. Compost bins are fantastic too, or you can buy compost in a bag and it usually covers about 4 sq. ft. Hope I helped and excellent luck to you and your plants:)

There is never anything “incorrect” in gardening, except YOU don’t like the result. Learn from your experiences. Keep a journal of successes and failures.

Carrots need excellent, deep, loose soil.

    Tomatoes are heavy feeders.

Give the vines plenty of room and lots of sunshine. Watch for fungal problems on the melons and cucumbers. The leaves start to look dull and get a “powdery” residue on them. It’s terrible. It kills them.

For the lettuce, you can sow seeds every couple of weeks and have fresh, young leaves for longer. They prefer cool weather and may fade in the hottest part of the summer. Seed again in fall for new baby lettuce.

You can also sow peas every couple of weeks for a longer harvesting period.

Mulch is your friend, use it and you will not have to fill up as often or pull as many weeds.
