MR-16 High Power 3 Watt LED bulb. Intended  for use as a direct replacement for standard MR-16 Spot light bulbs in 12 volt track lighting and spot light fixtures. Available as both a Warm white, or a Cool white bulb. 50,000 hour life, runs warmer than low power LED's.

Spot lights are typed and measured. MR means "Mirrored Reflector" and the 16 refers to how many eighths of an inch in diameter it is. So an MR-16 is 16 eighths across, or 2 inches in diameter.

These are our brightest LED light bulbs, rated at 100 lumens in warm (3000k) white, and 160 lumens in cool (6500k) white. That is roughly 1/2, & 2/3 the brightnes of a 20 watt Halogen MR-16 bulb.  When comparing bulbs, make sure you are comparing lumens to lumens. If the seller doesn't list the lumen rating, then ask. Otherwise you may be very dissappionted by what you receive.*

*I have seen one LED bulb seller have a 92 lumen bulb described as "comprable to a 60 watt incandescent". A 60 watt incendescent generally is rated at 800 lumens, There is no way 92 compares to 800. Both bulbs would fit into the same light bulb socket, but that is just about where I would say the comparison ends!!!!
